What to do when people wrongly cited your published article?

Today i came across an article published in a scientific journal citing my previous work in forensic entomology.  Initially i was very happy knowing that another group of researchers placing some importance to my work.  However, when i read the whole paper i felt frustrated because my work was wrongly cited.

In my previous article published in the Forensic Science International in 2009, i stated very clearly that; 'The novel finding of this research is that, temperature apart, rainfall of about 9.0 mm or more a day during the period of pupation that rendered the soil wet consistently prolonged the period of pupation.  It was found that the maximum of such prolonged period of pupation attributable to the influence of rain was eight days, while the maximum period of pupation in the absence of rain in sunlit habitat was only three days'.

However, in that paper published few months ago, the authors quoted that; ‘Similarly, Mahat showed that rain had prolonged the pupation period of flies by 1-34 days’.  This is a very misleading statement!!!  Did the authors really read my paper?
